Windy weather conditions have stopped hot-air balloons taking to the air at the Northampton Balloon Festival.
The event at the Billing Aquadrome is the 28th held in the county.
Balloons are expected to fly between 6am and 6pm between Friday and Sunday but are heavily dependent on the right weather conditions.
The flight director John Tyrrell said: "We waiting for the weather to be confirmed to us from the Met Office."
Stalls and the funfair will operate as normal from 3pm on Friday. At 9pm on Saturday the event holds a "Balloon Glow" when tethered balloons are turned into giant lanterns pulsating to music.
Last year no balloons were able to fly on all three days for the first time in the event's history.
