Ram raiders used a Toyota to steal the cash machine from the front of a shop in Essex.
Police were called to Honeysuckle Stores in Witham around 2.10am today, November 13.
A Toyota Rav4 was used to ram the shop before three people - all with their faces covered and wearing hoodies - were seen getting into two other cars and fleeing.
They headed in the direction of Flora Road in what is thought to have been an Audi four-wheel drive and a Mercedes.
Police were on the scene within six minutes and searched the area using a helicopter.
Officers have appealed for CCTV and dashcam footage.
