Weekend Weather

Over the weekend low pressure stays close which means another unsettled and showery spell of weather in the Anglia region. It's not all bad news, there will be some decent dry and bright conditions in between the showers and for the south east, there's the chance you may miss them altogether.

Elsewhere if you do catch one they could be heavy and thundery and with lighter winds forecast for Sunday, the showers may be slow-moving producing some hefty rainfall in places.

Looking ahead, next week starts off showery but our models are hinting at high pressure building back in, which means we could see some drier and brighter weather returning from Tuesday onwards. Keep tuning in to ITV1 for more updates over the next couple of days.
