Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was stabbed.

The attack took place last Monday at around 8.30pm when the 17-year-old was walking along the Potton Road footpath, close to Sandy Train station.

He was attacked by three white males - aged between 16 and 20.

He was left with a small wound to his shoulder after one of the men stabbed him with a sharp implement. The victim managed to reach Potton Road and flagged down a passing motorist who alerted emergency services.

He was treated at Bedford South Wing Hospital by paramedics.
