Investigations continue after body found in burnt out caravan

Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate after the body of a man was found in the remains of a burnt out caravan in Diss this weekend.

At approximately 8:20pm on Saturday night, a member of the public alerted police to a caravan on fire near the railway track on Sawmill Road.

After the fire had been contained by Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, they discovered a man's body.

The death is being treated as unexplained and police say their enquiries are ongoing. The area has been sealed off as forensic teams try to establish the cause of the fire.
