The NHS Blood and Transplant service is looking for more blood donors in the Anglia region after revealing half the region's active donors are over 45 years old.
With hospitals across the country using 7,000 units of blood every 24 hours the service needs to attract 1,000 new donors each day to keep stocks sustainable.
