How technology struggles to cope with flooding risk

Now we've felt the force of the weather this winter: we've had the tidal surge on the east coast and already this year we've had three times as much rain as usual. But an area of our region is in constant threat of flooding.

Ever since the Fens were drained in the 17th century, we've been trying to keep the rising tides at bay. Claire McGlasson has been to St German on the Cambridgeshire Norfolk border where technology has been pushed to the limit during the recent downpours.
