Airline warns Stansted passengers over fares
The low-cost airline Ryanair has warned that passengers using Stansted Airport could face higher fares, following a ruling by the Civil Aviation Authority. The amount airlines can be charged for using Stansted will no longer be regulated by the CAA.
It means there won't be any caps on charges and the airport can negotiate freely with the airlines. Ryanair says this decision will lead to higher airport charges, which could be passed on to consumers.
