A schoolgirl had a narrow escape when her bike skidded into the path of a guided bus.
Eyewitnesses have described how the cyclist appeared to lose her balance and ended up on the track between Histon and Oakington, near Cambridge.
She got out of the way with seconds to spare but her bike went under the front of the bus and was dragged along.
Holly Collas, who described the cyclist as "very lucky", was on the bus and took photographs after the incident. She said the driver tried to slow down as he spotted her.
She said: "I would say it was a matter of seconds and I had to close my eyes because I didn’t know what was going to happen." Stagecoach Cambridgeshire has confirmed a young person's bike had skidded under a bus. A driver took her back home to her parents.
