Thousands fall silent across the Anglia region to remember those who have fallen

Thousands of people across our region stopped and fell silent today to remember those who served and died in war.

Old and young alike gathered at services that were particularly poignant this year, 100 years since the start of WWI.

There were also reminders of how the Poppy Appeal continues to help those affected by more recent conflicts.
