Young families finding it harder to buy homes


New research shows young famliies are finding it harder to buy a house in East Anglia. Figures by Shelter found it took an average of 13 years for a couple with a child to afford their own home.

In Luton, couples with a child looking to get on the ladder can expect a wait of over thirteen years, in Cambridgeshire over twelve years,and over thirteen years in Essex until they can afford a home of their own.
