Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was bitten by a dog in Bungay in Suffolk.

The incident happened in a car park behind St Mary's Street between 2.30pm and 2.45pm on Monday 28th September.

The dog, described as a sandy, brown German Shepherd jumped up and bit the woman on the upper arm, causing scratches, a puncture wound and bruising.

The owner is described as a tall, slim man and aged approximately 19 to 20 years old.
