Blue and his handler from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Dog Unit were called to the scene but the boy had disappeared in the park off Clothall Road.

Blue’s nose was soon to the ground and began tracking, catching up with the teenager, who was found safe and well, within a few minutes.

"This is another excellent example of how our team, with our highly trained dogs and handlers, can assist officers around the three counties.

“I am proud of Blue and his handler who prevented the teenager coming to any possible harm or danger by finding him so quickly.”
