Family pay tribute to 'kind and caring' father killed in crash

The family of a man, who died after his car crashed into a water-filled ditch in the Fens, have paid tribute to him.

Andrew Jarvis, 32, was found by police inside his car at Gravel Bank on Tuesday morning.

Efforts were made to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family say they are "devastated" by his death.

"He was a hard working fiancé, daddy, son, brother, uncle and cousin. He was the kindest, caring and most easy going man anyone could have had the pleasure of knowing and loving.”

Police say an inquest will be opened into Andrew's death in due course.

They are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
