Man dies after Kempston attack

A man who was attacked in Kempston in Bedfordshire at the beginning of December has died from his injuries.

He was assaulted in Whitbread Avenue between 7pm and 8pm on Sunday December 6.

Detective Sergeant Craig Laws said:

"This was a nasty attack in which the man suffered serious injuries. I'm appealing for people to wrack their minds back to the beginning of December to see if they can remember witnessing this assault, or if they saw anything suspicious in the area around the time of the offence.

We don't know whether there were any weapons involved in the incident, and as part of our investigation we're keen to hear from anyone who may have come across items that could have been used as a weapon discarded in the vicinity of the attack."

– Craig Laws, Bedfordshire Police

Four men are currently on bail, after been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
