Gold medal for Suffolk skier

George Burroughs

A skier from Suffolk has proved disability is not a barrier to sport, by taking part in a national skiing competition in the French Alps.

It's run by the Special Olympics for athletes with Down's syndrome, autism and many other types of learning disabilities.

This week, George Burroughs made the journey from Lowestoft to the resort of Serre Chevalier, and won a gold medal. He was joined by our reporter Lauren Hall.
