Bereavement charity faces uncertain future

Video report by ITV News Anglia's Tanya Mercer

A charity that helps people deal with bereavement in Suffolk is looking for funding to secure its future.

Cruse in Suffolk will suspend services to all bereaved people as today (1 July) because of lack of local funding from statutory agencies.

The suspension will involve the withdrawal of all bereavement support from new clients in the Suffolk and Great Yarmouth area, due to no longer having the local financial resources.

We have always been active in raising funds to continue the service, but it is now at a point where the funds raised locally aren't enough to provide support to clients and develop the service to meet the client demand in Suffolk.
