Summer show in Clacton still a success

Video report by ITV Anglia's Victoria Lampard.

From Southend to Cromer, there was once a time when many of our seaside resorts entertained thousands each year with their summer shows.

These days they are few and far between with Cromer being home to the country's last end of the pier show.

But Clacton too is keeping the British tradition alive.

They've got a new team behind this year's production at the West Cliff theatre and say they're seeing the best ticket sales in more than a decade.

"We've got eight professional dancers on this stage in almost 15 years. It's bringing back the production, the costumes. Just the spectacular of it all."
