A man and woman have been charged in connection with a hit and run in Norfolk in July.
A 30-year-old man was hit by a car when he was walking through Vicarage Car Park in North Walsham with friends. He suffered a broken pelvis and serious leg injuries.
Police released shocking CCTV footage of the moment the car ploughed into him in a bid to find the perpetrators.
43-year-old Darren Blackmore from Wymondham has been charged with one count of Grievous Bodily Harm with intent, two counts of attempted Grievous Bodily Harm and one count of dangerous driving.
Sammi Horner, who’s 35 and from North Walsham, has been charged with encouraging an offender under Section 45 of the Serious Crime Act.
Blackmore was taken into Horner has been released on bail.
They’re both due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on 24 November.
Police in Norfolk say the victim of a 'horrific' hit and run incident in the county is lucky to be alive.
As a result the victim is knocked up to 15 feet into the air. The incident is being treated by police as attempted murder.
