Woman suffers serious head injury in Suffolk car crash

A woman is seriously injured in hospital after a car crash in Bungay, Suffolk.

Emergency services were called to St John's Road at 6.50pm yesterday (29 January) following reports of a collision between a silver Ford Fiesta and two pedestrians.

A woman in her 60s suffered a serious head injury. A young child suffered some grazes and bruising to the head and face.

Both were taken to James Paget Hospital in Gorleston for treatment.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
