Thieves steal charity box on Christmas Day
Police are hunting thieves who stole a donation box containing cash from a Peterborough Hospice on Christmas Day.
It happened early in the morning at Sue Ryder's Thorpe Hall Hospice.
The doors were unlocked because a patient had passed away and their family were due to visit.
The charity says the hospice costs more than 3 million pounds a year to run and the theft has been distressing for staff and residents.
Police are investigating.
