'Bitterly disappointing': Chief Constable's reaction after six police officers are assaulted on duty

The Chief Constable of Norfolk Police says he is "bitterly disappointed" after six of his officers were assaulted on Saturday night.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police told ITV News Anglia that five officers were assaulted whilst on duty on Prince of Wales Road. All suffered minor injuries and in all the cases suspects were arrested.

In another instant a police sergeant was punched in the face in King's Lynn by a suspected drink driver. The officer suffered minor injuries.
