We kid you not: Stray goat on the loose in Norwich taken into safety

A stray goat which had been on the loose in Norwich for several weeks has been caught and taken to safety by the RSPCA

He'd been spotted several times over the last few months with overgrown hooves.

He was finally caught near Sweet Briar Road in Norwich and has been treated by vets.

“Though he’s clearly got a lot of character, being on the loose during the extreme weather and almost eight inches of snowfall was really dangerous for him and he’s lucky to be alive and well. Once we got hold of him I could see straight away that he was suffering with really overgrown hooves which would have been causing him a lot of discomfort. The vet removed almost three inches of overgrown hoof which is just astounding.”
