Two boys stabbed near Cambridge college

Two teenage boys have been stabbed near Christ's College in Cambridge

Police were called to "reports of violence" near the junction of Sidney Street and Hobson Street, around 7.40pm on Sunday.

The pair, aged 13 and 16, suffered "serious but not life-threatening" injuries, both were taken to hospital and have since been discharged.

Two 15-year-old boys from Cambridge have been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.

Christ's College was founded in 1437 and its alumni include Charles Darwin and Paradise Lost poet John Milton.
