A pedestrian is believed to have been hit by a guided bus in Cambridge during this morning's rush hour.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on the guided busway near Purbeck Road, close to Cambridge University Press. The ambulance service said it was first called at 8.17am with police alerted at 8.34am.
The East of England Ambulance Service said a man, believed to be in his 30s, was treated at the scene with leg and shoulder injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
A police spokesman said he had "suspected serious but not life-threatening injuries".
The guided busway connects areas around Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus to the city centre, via Cambridge station.
