Business leaders have been meeting in Milton Keynes talking about plans for a million new homes along with new jobs and transport links that could boost the region's economy by hundreds of billions of pounds a year.

An East-West, Cambridge-Oxford Corridor, would connect the two university cities along with Bedford and Milton Keynes with a hive of hi-tech industries and research centres in between.

The catch is that it's not quite clear how it could all be done, and the amount of money, building and development needed to see it through would be massive.
