Police are searching for a man with a suspected stab wound after two people suffered serious injuries in Bury St Edmunds.
A man in his 20s was found at the scene of an assault in the street at Shillitoe Close at about 6.35pm on Saturday, August 18.
He was taken to hospital with a serious head injury and is in a stable condition.
But police believe a second man was also injured.
The victim - described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, 6ft 4in tall with black hair and wearing a black jumper, blue jeans and a baseball cap - is thought to have been stabbed in his leg or left side.
He is said to have limped off in the direction of the town centre but has not yet been found.
A knife was discovered in nearby Albert Crescent soon after. Police think it was used in the assault which they have described as a targeted attack.
