Essex stretch of M25 to remain shut through rush hour after serious crash

Motorists are being warned of long delays on the M25 in Essex this morning after a serious crash overnight.

A lorry and two cars collided between J28 (A12) and J27 (M11).

Police completely shut the anticlockwise road at midnight and Highways England have warned that it may remain closed "well into the morning peak."

A diversion is in place: Take A12 westbound to Redbridge and join the A406 North Circular northbound to the M11 at J4, joining northbound up to J6 to re-join the M25.
