Stansted Airport expansion plans nearing decision date

Stansted Airport will learn this week if it's been successful in its bid to increase the number of passengers it can handle, by eight million a year.

Uttlesford District Council is due to make a decision on Stansted's planning application on Wednesday (14th November).

But not everyone is convinced with anti-expansion campaigners raising concerns about carbon emissions and noise.
