A family from Peterborough are appealing for help to find their pet parrot which has been missing since their home was targeted by burglars.

Muto, a seven-year-old African Grey, hasn't been seen since the break-in at the house in Field Walk last Sunday (December 2).

His owners say it has left them "completely devastated".

"We are urgently appealing for anyone who has been offered a parrot similar to Muto or knows where he is to get in touch.

"He's likely to be distressed and he could be aggressive towards strangers."

Two people have been charged with burglary.
