Cricket is the latest sport to get the 'walking' treatment to open up the game to a wider group of players.

It is played at a slightly more leisurely pace and is meant for over 50s both experienced and beginner.

It can provide a lower impact way of staying active and avoiding injuries.

The walking cricket club in Bedford is one of the first in the country and joins the walking netball and hockey clubs that are also hosted there.
