Hunt for hit and run driver who knocked down schoolgirl

A 15-year-old girl was injured in a hit and run crash on Gaywood Road in King's Lynn.

Police in Norfolk are searching for a hit and run driver who knocked down and injured a schoolgirl on a pedestrian crossing in King's Lynn.

The 15-year-old girl was crossing Gaywood Road near the Woolpack pub when she was hit a black Audi car driven by a man.

She sustained injuries to her leg and foot and was knocked to the ground as a result of the crash.

The incident happened around 3.15pm on Wednesday 27 February 2019.

The driver didn't stop and continued into Tennyson Avenue. He is described as having glasses and a short grey/white beard.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information and/or dash cam video.
