Care home staff surprise 94-year-old resident by publishing her poems

A 94-year-old woman was surprised by staff at the Willows Care Home in Ipswich after they published a book of her poems in secret.

Nora Burt knew nothing of it until she was presented with a hardback copy by the mayor of Ipswich.

Nora said she was "so overwhelmed" by a day she described as "wonderful".

The new book will be distributed throughout care homes and with enough demand, it may even go on sale.
