Man charged over deaths of brother, sister and fiancé killed in Peterborough crash

Jana Kockova, Tomas Kocko and Marko Makula all died in the crash.

A man has been charged with three counts of causing death by dangerous driving after three people were killed in a crash in Peterborough.

Police were called to the collision between a Ford Ranger and a Renault Megane on the Fletton Parkway just after midnight on Sunday 14 April.

Sister and brother Jana Kockova, 21, and Tomas Kocko 19, both of Hinchcliffe in Peterborough - along with Jana’s fiancé Marko Makula, 22, of Reeves Way in Peterborough, all died at the scene.

Tommy Whitmore, 26, of Stonegate, Cowbit, appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates Court on 22 April. He has been released on bail to appear at Peterborough Crown Court on 20 May.
