Officers smash window to rescue dogs left in vehicle

Police officers had to smash through a window to rescue two dogs locked in a vehicle in Norfolk.

Posting the pictures on Twitter they said they were called to the vehicle on Great Yarmouth seafront, where they found the dogs distressed and with no water.

At the time the temperature was reading 25 degrees centigrade.

They say the dogs are now safe and well.
