Carlisle United 0-3 Bury

Temporary managers Thirlwell and Caig say new manager will soon be in place Photo: ITV Border

Second half goals from Danny Rose, Craig Jones and Ryan Lowe saw Carlisle United easily beaten by Bury at Brunton Park. With the exception of a disallowed Kyle Dempsey goal that would have brought the Blues level at 1-1 United created few opportunities and were well beaten by the visitors. United, who parted company with manager Graham Kavanagh earlier this month are now rock bottom of League Two and have not won a single game all season. The caretaker management team of Tony Caig and Paul Thirlwell have acknowledged that it is important the club appoint a new boss soon.
