Woman's Leap Year proposal to boyfriend... live on TV

Watch the moment one brave woman from Kendal popped the question to her boyfriend... live on TV:

This year is a Leap Year, which means today is the day women are traditionally allowed to ask men to marry them.

Helen Hartley from Kendal did just that... but to make it even more nerve-wracking she proposed live on television with ITV This Morning's Alison Hammond.

She popped along to Mark Shepherd's butchers shop in Ambleside, and he said yes.
