Thieves take Galashiels man's Tunnock's wafers... but leave laptop
Thieves have stolen Tunnock's caramel wafers from a Galashiels man's suitcase, while leaving behind valuables like his laptop and mobile phone.
Michael Paterson, 26, had arrived at Accra Airport, on a charity trip to work at an orphanage in Ghana, when he noticed the seals on his suitcase were broken.
His laptop, mobile phone and a projector he planned to give the orphanage, and some souvenir football strips were still in the case.
But the wafers, which he'd planned to give as a present to the family he was staying with, were gone.
