The 39-year-old mother of premature triplets has died suddenly at her home in Whitehaven.
Rachel Park passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning at her home at Beatty Road, Bransty.
Last week, ITV Border reported on how Rachel and her husband Steven had brought the nine-month-old triplets home in time for Christmas after they spent three months in intensive care at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Poppie, Mollie and Evelyn Park were born on March 11 2016 at just 26 weeks.
The triplets remained in hospital where doctors told Rachel and Steven to "prepare for the worst".
Police say her death is unexplained, but is not believed to be suspicious.
