A celebration is being held at Keswick's YHA Youth Hostel, to mark its official reopening.

The 107-bed hostel on the bank of the River Greta was one of many properties left submerged by the floods of Storm Desmond in December 2015.

Following a £500,000 refurbishment, YHA Keswick is finally re-opened its doors for business and is ready to welcome guests.

It's one of the last businesses in Keswick to re-open, following the floods.

This will be a very special re-opening of a Youth Hostel following investment because it's about the town as a whole and how it has pulled together and supported each other in the face of such adversity.
