Messages of solidarity from Carlisle to Manchester

Across Carlisle people have been offering messages of support and solidarity with those in Manchester.

A book of condolence has been opened at the old town hall.

Anyone is welcome to drop in and write a message until the end of next week, when the book will be sent to Manchester.

Meanwhile outside the cathedral, a small vigil was held last night and roses have been laid as a sign of solidarity.
