Border region falls silent to remember London terror victims

People in Cumbria, Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders fell silent this morning, to remember those killed in the London Bridge terror attack.

A minute of silence was held across the UK at eleven o'clock.

Crowds gathered in Carlisle city centre, and a number of town centres across the region, to pay their respects.

Flags on government buildings will remain at half mast throughout the day.
