Love Island star Camilla Thurlow has been praised by businesses in Dumfries, after popping in following her departure from the reality TV show's villa.

The finalist, who is from Dumfries and Galloway, visited Slate Hairdressing with new beau Jamie Jewitt.

I have known Camilla since she was very young. We believe she has been a role model for all young woman. We are so proud of her, she is such a lovely girl and she deserves all the luck and happiness in the world.
