Cloud and showery rain clear away south during the evening. Lingering over Cumbria until dawn but with long clear spells developing from the north overnight. Mainly light winds away from coasts, a touch of frost is possible, odd icy patch. Rural lows around 0°C.


A mainly dry day with some long spells of sunshine and lighter winds than of late. A few showers likely across the Rhinns of Galloway. Colder feel, with a breezy east coast. Highs 7 °C.


Frosty, bright start on Monday but cloud increasing from the west later. Mostly cloudy on Tuesday. Occasional rain midweek and freshening southeasterly winds.
