Carlisle culture festival to bring together 60 nationalities

Sixty nationalities living and working in the area will gather together this weekend for the 9th Culture Bazaar Festival in Carlisle.

Food, dance, music and crafts are just some of the festivities on offer at this years event that celebrates the cultural roots of the community.

The organisers of the popular gathering say they want to 'harness and develop' the international heritage in the county.

Carlisle Culture Bazaar will take place across the weekend at Richard Rose Central Academy and Carlisle Youth Zone on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 February from 11am to 6pm.

The event is free and open to anyone.
