An emu on the run from a care home in Scotland has been tracked down.
The 4ft male bird is part of Burnfoot care home's menagerie, in Ecclefechan, and managed to escape through a hole in a fence on 16 May.
The emu - named Clyde - was found on Saturday afternoon safe and well.
Clyde lives with four emus, five donkeys, 20 hens and 10 sheep.
Dennis Agnew, the groundskeeper of the home, says the animal was spotted by a member of the public in the area of the care home.
He was taken to the vet for a check-up and is set to be reunited soon with Bonnie, his female emu companion, back at the care home.
