The family of a man who died on the A66 have paid tribute to his life.
Daniel Bancroft has been described as "a great dad and would have done anything for anyone."
Mr Bancroft, 37, from Cockermouth, died after he was hit by a Citroen car on the Stainburn Bypass on 19 May. It happened at around 3:30am.
In a statement issued by Cumbria Police, his wife Sarah said :
The driver of the Citroen, a 25-year-old man from Cockermouth, was uninjured.
Officers would like to speak to the driver of a white taxi, as a potential witness, and ask anyone with information to contact 101.
