Lockerbie Riding of the Marches and Gala took place over the weekend with thousands of people in attendance. It includes a coronation of the elected Gala Queen.
The tradition that dates back to 13th and 14th century with hundreds of people on horseback ride the town's historic boundaries.
It has evolved into one of the biggest equestrian spectacles in Europe.
The rides will run in south Scotland and the Borders from June through to August.
