Tens of thousands of young people and families have descended on Dumfries for Youth Beatz 2019.
The two-day event is the biggest free youth festival in the UK.
Sigma, The Vamps and Professor Green are all headline acts this year.
Emerging local talent and performers are also taking to the stage throughout the weekend.
The festival also focusses on mental health and wellbeing, with youth-led interactive drama helping attendees to engage with topics like bullying, alcohol, and legal highs in an informal setting.
Now in its 11th year, the award-winning youth event is managed through a partnership led by Dumfries and Galloway Council’s Young Persons Service in conjunction with the Oasis Events Team.
Police Scotland has reminded attendees of the no-alcohol policy, and say a robust policing plan is in place to ensure that anybody who tries to enter this area in possession of, or under the influence of, alcohol will be refused entry.
