Motorcyclist, 75, killed after colliding with tree in Borders

A 75-year-old man has died after his motorbike left the road and collided with a tree in the Scottish Borders.

It happened on Saturday 21 September at 12:30pm on the B6357 at Rough Hope Sike, near Hawick.

He was riding with a group of people, all motorcyclists, when the incident occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

We are appealing for anyone who may have information, or anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the incident, to come forward and help us with our enquiries."
